Wedding and event hair: how to prepare
Waves, updos or braids: the trial, when to book and what to bring on the day.
A wedding, a communion or a special dinner takes planning, and so does your hair. Here's what we recommend:
The trial
For brides we always do a trial session. Bring photos of the style you like, your dress and neckline: they all affect whether an updo, waves or a braid works best.
When to book
In wedding season Saturdays fill up fast. If you already have a date, book as early as you can; for guests, two or three weeks is enough.
The day before
- Wash your hair the day before, not that morning.
- Skip heavy oils and masks: updos hold better.
- Wear a button-up top so you don't ruin your hair when changing.
Waves, low buns, crown braids… We'll help you choose.
